Visit three churches, each with unique stories to tell, and learn about the people in the communities who helped to create the story. Then prepare to explore the dramatic landscape of Dartmoor and visit relevant locations from the novel.

Special equipment needed

Sensible outdoor walking shoes are required. Layered clothing required as the weather can be very changeable. Waterproof coat with hood is recommended.

Most of the experience is accessible, although the walk up to one of the sites is difficult for people with physical disabilities.
